SER2027 will take place at the Centro de Congressos de Lisboa (CCL), the Lisbon Congress Center. All conference sessions are planned for the CCL, located along the Tagus River near Belém, one of Lisbon’s most historic and culturally significant areas. Just minutes from the city center, the venue is easily accessible by public transit, taxi, and other transport services.

Airport
The Humberto Delgado Airport is located 12 km (approximately 15 minutes) from the CCL, providing flights to more than 125 national and international destinations. Find information on getting to and from the airport here.
By car
The CCL is accessible via Portugal’s main national road accesses, the A5, A2, and the Ponte 25 de Abril (The April 25th Bridge). CCL has an underground paid parking garage and an uncovered car park.
Transportation
Around the CCL, delegates can find various means of transport such as the tram, the train, the Carris buses, and taxis.
On foot or by bicycle
The CCL is close to several hotels, making it accessible on foot or by bicycle.
Opportunities near the venue
There are plenty of opportunities to step outside and experience Lisbon throughout the conference. From the CCL, delegates can take in the Tagus riverfront, explore the restaurants, shops, and creative spaces of the nearby LX Factory, or head toward Belém to discover some of Lisbon’s most iconic landmarks, including the MAAT (Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology), Jerónimos Monastery, the Monument to the Discoveries, and Belém Tower. And no visit to Belém is complete without trying the famous pastéis de Belém. Whether you have a short break between sessions or extra time to explore, some of Lisbon’s best-known cultural, culinary, and waterfront experiences are within easy reach.
